Calling all healers, therapists, yogis, counselors, meditators, and seekers of holistic wellness.

Beginning this May, join instructors Heath and Nicole from LivingMetta.com for a transformative journey into the heart of somatic healing. Living Metta Meditations is a brand-new series of monthly, hour-long, no-cost live events designed to help you release pain, alleviate tension, and foster profound healing for yourself and the world around you.

Whether you facilitate healing for others or are on your own journey of personal restoration, these sessions offer a powerful sanctuary to reconnect with your essence.


Experiment with us in the Living Metta Lab

Each month, we will step into the Living Metta Lab to focus deeply on a specific area of the body—such as the neck, shoulders, or back. By blending science with the senses, Heath and Nicole will guide you through a multidimensional exploration of the body, utilizing:

  • Anatomical & Physiological Insights: Understand the physical mechanics of where and how we hold our physical tension.

  • Somatic Psychology & Metaphysics: Explore the emotional and energetic roots of our pain to unlock deeper pathways for release.

The Flow of Each One-Hour Session:

  1. Embodiment Practice: We open with a grounding, qigong or yoga-inspired movement practice designed to awaken the physical form and prepare the nervous system.

  2. Anatomical Tutorial: A brief, insightful lesson providing a deeper understanding of the month’s featured body part and how to actively heal it.

  3. Guided Metta Meditation: We transition into a unique, guided meditation inspired by traditional Metta (loving-kindness). Here, we expand our healing outward—from ourselves to our neighbors, our country, our planet, our collective, and our ancestors.


Metta Highlights & Core Philosophies

Through mindful breathing, movement, stillness, and touch, these sessions will help you cultivate a profound synergy of physical and metaphysical practices. Together, we will:

  • Become “Metta Detectives”: Learn to consciously choose not only what you see, hear, touch, taste, and consume, but also what you are sensing for. We will actively investigate our inner landscapes to find and amplify loving-kindness.

  • Restore Wholeness: Practice actively bringing Metta into your own physical body, radiating it outward to your family, friends, community, and the collective consciousness.

  • Expand the Definition of “Home”: Discover what it truly means to come home to your body and your essence. From there, we will practice treating our neighborhoods like our homes, and our planet as the vital extension of our home that it truly is.
