Improve your spinal health, flexibility and strength with yoga therapy, foundation training, breath work, mindfulness, science, and practice. Together we blend the science with the senses as we uncover the causes of degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis. We also discern between herniated versus bulging discs as well as true versus โpseudoโ sciatica. Familiarize yourself with common spinal challenges and practice the healing antidotes to lengthen and strengthen your backbone at every age! Students and yoga teachers are welcome!
With lecture and experiential anatomical tutorials, this workshop equips you to:
- Eradicate acute or long-standing back pain, tension, and stiffness
- Learn to customize your approach to your own or your studentsโ unique spinal challenges with confidence, affection and curiosity
- Leverage potent interventions to strengthen your backbone and increase spinal flexibility and agility all lifelong
- Uncover and avoid the surprisingly common pitfalls and dangers from inaccurate forward-folding and hip-hinging
- Decompress your discs and improve your posture with breath work and deep core engagement
- Maximize optimal spinal and pelvic alignment in multiple positions
